Nicole and Ciaran may have been the obvious couple to win Love Island 2024, considering they were both original Islanders and only had eyes for each other throughout their entire time on the show.
But the pair actually took the runner-up spot, just missing out to equally-deserving winners Mimii and Josh.
Ciaran and Nicole had each made it clear that they already felt like they had come out on top regardless of the result, having found each other. Together they hit a number of big relationship milestones while in the villa, going from "exclusive" to officially becoming "boyfriend and girlfriend", and even dropping the coveted L-word.
Their bond has been adorable to watch, and hearing Nicole finally tell Ciaran that she trusted him with 'every bone in her body' felt like a really genuine moment for the couple.
But what's next for Nicole and Ciaran, and are they still together following the Love Island final?
The Welsh pair officially coupled up back on day five of this Love Island season, having their eye on each other from the get-go.
Despite a few disagreements along the way, Nicole and Ciaran went from strength to strength as the ITV2 show continued to unfold. When Casa Amor – often described as the ultimate relationship test – came along, they remained loyal to each other, showing zero interest in any of the new boys or girls.
Their reunion in the main villa was emotional, with even host Maya Jama shedding a tear.
In more recent days, when the boys were tasked with organising final dates for their partners, Ciaran wanted to pick out a special gift for Nicole to show her how much she meant to him.

He selected a necklace, with two heart charms, which he gave to her on the terrace. Adding an extra-thoughtful touch, Ciaran had decorated the space in the colours of the Welsh flag, as a reminder of home.
"I'm so in love right now," Nicole shouted, as she asked him to put it on for her. Nicole also said that she would never take it off – and, sure enough, she was wearing it in the live final on Monday night (July 29).
In Nicole and Ciaran's declarations, which each of the final couples were tasked with preparing for their last night in the villa, they reminisced about their initial interaction on day one. On the day they met, Nicole enthusiastically greeted Ciaran by asking if he was Welsh.
The moment had clearly made an impression, with Ciaran revealing that he had known there was something special about Nicole from the start.

Nicola and Ciaran looked as loved-up as ever in the Love Island final, with Nicole telling Maya that they had discussed sharing a cab back to Wales together and that Ciaran would be going back with her.
After the show, Ciaran's mum told BBC News that, despite coming second in the public vote, it "doesn't feel like Ciaran lost".
"I've met Nic, and she's lovely," she added, referencing her visit to the villa in the family episode of the show. "They're both besotted with each other, and I wish them only the best from here on in."
After the final, Nicole revealed that they will be focusing on "the little things we've missed out on", such as "seeing each other's families."
"We are going to take my dog Bonnie for a walk – he needs to pass the Bonnie test," she added.
Ciaran said, "One of the main things I want to do is go to a really nice restaurant and have a nice steak dinner. Looking forward to a holiday as well; we did say Croatia for that. I don't know why, but I've been told it's really nice."
When looking ahead to what their relationship might look like a year from now, Nicola teased: "I think looking at houses, moving in together, 100% that's on the cards."
"Dates, holidays, then probably looking at houses," Ciaran confirmed. "We are thinking about moving in together."
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
