"You can take them away." Shinobu signals for the Kakushi to take Nezuko and Tanjiro. One of the Kakushi slowly approaches me.
"I can walk." I say
"No, it's best if you let him cary you darling." Shinobu says. I nod and do as she says as the Kakushi gently pushes me to his back carrying me. Before getting up Shinobu approach my face. "Good girl. I'll come see you when I'm done." She whispered to my ear making me go red.
"Hey, I saw that!!" Mitsuri screams, but I didn't hear anymore as the Kakushi carried me away.
The Kakushi eventually reach Shinobu's house, the Butterfly Mansion, but find no one at the front. They decide to walk to the back. I the numerous butterflies giving its name and we eventually see a young girl in the back.
"She's a Tsuguko." The Kakushi tells me. "Her name is Kanao Tsuyuri."
"What's a Tsugoko?"
"It's a swordsman trained by a Hashira, and only those with amazing skills and talent get to be chosen."
"Hello, you have arrived under Shinobu's orders." The Kakushi says approaching the girl. "Can we come in?" He is ignored by Kanao not speaking a word. "Do you mind if we come in?" No answer again.
"Hmm, Kanao?" She stops and looks at me, her eyes get wide. "Can we go to the hospital ward?" She nods and points to the direction of the ward. "Thank you so much." I say and we leave. She never, for a single moment stopped looking at me.
"I have to take this five times a day? For three months? No! This tastes horrible!"
"Zenitsu, I'm glad you're safe." He looks at me and starts crying a whole ocean.
"Y/N-chan! Y/N-chan! I thought I would never see you again!"
"Get off!" The Kakushi says pushing him.
"Hey! I heard that you were not taking your medicine! Take it, god dammit! I already explained to you! You arms will NOT grow back if you don't take it!" A angry girl with blue hair scolded him.
"Ah, Zenitsu-san, please take the medicine. For me? I would like to see you with your hands back. Then we can hug." Zenitsu immediately toke the medicine without water, to the surprise of the girl. She looked at me.
"You're so pretty. I MEAN.. thank you." She said a big blush on her face. "My name is Aoi, if you need anything I'll take care of it!"
"Thank you Aoi-san, you are very kind." I say smiling at the girl making her blush even harder. "Zenitsu? Have you seen Inosuke?" Zenitsu points at the ground. There is Inosuke staring at me and scaring the living hell of the Kakushi.
"Inosuke, I'm sorry I couldn't fight with you."
"It's fine, don't worry about it. I should be the one protecting you." Inosuke answers in a weak and coarse voice.
"Jesus, what happened to your voice?"
"I heard about it, he lost it through being hit in the neck and yelling at the top of his lungs, but I'm not sure about the details." Zenitsu says. "Inosuke being depressed has made him calm and gentle."
"I'm sorry for being weak." Inosuke says trying to hug me.
"Inosuke, you did great, you have nothing to be sorry about." I got off the Kakushi's back and guided Inosuke back to his bed. "I'm happy to see both of you alive.
Tanjiro came and went to bed next to the others. I had a separate bedroom. When I asked Aoi about it she said that it was because I was a girl and it was better for my treatment if we slept in different rooms.
I'm thankful that Y/N is alive. As night begins to fall, he closes his curtains and opens Nezuko's box, allowing her to walk out of the room she has been provided with. When he attempts to sit on the bed, Tanjiro hunches over in pain, leading him to realize how severely injured he got on Mount Natagumo. Thank you Y/N, for protecting me, for being my side for all these years, for risking your life for me. I will get stronger for you, I will be your husband, you will love me, you will be mine. I promise.
That night, during the meeting at the Headquarters, the Master, Kagaya Ubuyashiki, meets with the Hashira to discuss the threat of demons; as they have reported increasing damage caused by them will inevitably lead to human life under threat more than ever.
"That girl, Master, I want her to go rest at my place. If Muzan if after her she needs someone to protect her. The incident on Mount Natagumo has shown that the skill of Demon Slayers has plummeted greatly, most of them are useless." Said Sanemi. "The trainers could tell if someone could at least be competent." His fists tightened, he was so angry that they couldn't protect his Y/N and she has gotten hurt in the process.
"That kid landed that flamboyant blow on you, I'm more capable than you to protect Y/N." Tengen said earning Sanemi ire.
"As the human population grows, it will become harder to unify them all. And she is good at my place, she still needs to heal and you all can't deny that I am the most apt to help her in that department." Shinobu says
"Only in that department."
"Tomioka-san, you found her first and let her become a demon slayer, you really don't have any social skills."
"Since only those whose loved ones were killed by demons choose to join the Corps, or those that have done so through generations, we can't simply have people without the drive or resolve to join us, it would be cruel to ask." Gyomei states. "To think that Y/N saw her family die not once but two times is horrible. Y/N has been through so much. We should convince her to abandon the live of the demon slayer." He adds, tears sliding through his face.
"Y/N has encountered and defeated a Twelve Kizuki only months after joining. Maybe she has the power to draw them." Kyojuro chimes in.
"So, are you suggesting that we put her in a cage and use her as bait?" Obanai asked getting up and grabbing Kyojuro haori.
"Of course not! I'm just saying that putting her away won't solve anything if she attracts demons! I care about her!"
"The Lower Five's drastic actions mean that Muzan isn't near Mount Natagumo." Master said making both Hashira calm down. "I am frustrated that Y/N has to keep living this live, but I think it is the best choice to let her continue to follow her heart. I faith in you to protect her, I believe I have assembled the strongest Hashiras since the feudal era. I look forward to your success my children."
After the Hashira left, Master muttered to himself. "I know you will not fail this time Y/N. You will defeat him this time and end your suffering. Even if it's the last thing I'll do, I'll bring him down this time without fail, for you."
