Scotty Pippen Jr.'s Triple-Double Leads Grizzlies to Win in Semifinal
Competing in his third NBA Summer League, Scotty Pippen Jr. has been one of the anchors of an impressive Grizzlies squad.
With talented rookie Zach Edey out for the remainder of Summer League with a sprained ankle, Memphis needed someone to step up.
The son of the NBA legend Scotty Pippen had a big game on Sunday, posting 23 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, a pair of steals and a block to help Memphis advance to the championship game. His triple-double was just the sixth in Summer League history.
After Pippen's nice outing, fans were vying for him to earn an NBA contract for the upcoming season.
Pippen will now look to continue his solid play as the Grizzlies face either the Warriors or Heat in the championship game.
Kel'el Ware Leads Heat to Championship Game
Kel'el Ware has been one of the most impressive rookies throughout Summer League, and he had another strong showing to propel the Heat past the Warriors in the semifinal.
The former Indiana standout had 18 points and five boards in the win, continuing to prove that he could be one of the steals of the draft after falling all the way to the 15th pick.
Ware averaged more than 20 points per game through the semifinal game and was just a few rebounds shy of averaging a double-double. After another great game, Heat fans praised the Summer League star.
Ware and the Heat will now face the Grizzlies in the Summer League Championship.
Jared McCain Ends Summer League on Positive Note
While Jared McCain had an up-and-down showing at NBA Summer League, it was mostly positive from the Philadelphia 76ers rookie.
He put up just under 15 points per game while also proving that he can be a valuable rebounder for his size. In his final Summer League game, he had 15 points, four assists and a rebound in a win over the Boston Celtics.
The main concern for McCain was his efficiency as he shot less than 30 percent from both the field and from deep, but that's something that will likely improve as he gets comfortable in the league.
Summer League stats don't mean much, but 76ers fans have to feel pretty good about getting McCain with the 16th pick.

Kyle Filipowski Shakes Off Struggles, Has Best Summer League Showing in Finale
Kyle Filipowski had a rough start to Summer League, failing to score in his debut and scoring just four points in his second game.
But he turned things around towards the end of his time in Las Vegas to prove that he could be a valuable NBA player.
The Duke product had a 20-point, seven-rebound outing earlier this week before recording his best Summer League showing on Sunday with 26 points and 11 boards in a win against the Detroit Pistons.
Filipowski still has a long way to go, but the strong finish to Summer League had Jazz fans confident he can find a spot in the rotation this season.
With Summer League now wrapped up, Filipowski will look to continue improving before his rookie season begins in the fall.
