The 11 best street food in Panay Island (2024)

San Antonio Resort is a laid-back accommodation with simple rooms and complimentary breakfast. It features an outdoor pool and various dining choices, including Espacio Verde which serves Filipino and seafood dishes with a unique twist. The resort also offers theme park attractions such as water slides and a water park for kids. Guests have praised the excellent service provided by the polite and helpful staff, making their stay feel like a VIP experience from airport pick-up to drop-off.

The level of service was really good. Every staff member was polite and helpful specially their OM. From the moment they picked us up from the airport to the point they dropped us back there it was a VIP experience. The room was clean and had a very nice ambiance. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cold aircon, but sparse amenities, so bring your own. The elevator was out of service, but the staff compensated. It's beachfront location is walking distance to several good seafood restos.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at San Antonio Hotel in Roxas City, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The rooms were fabulous—spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making my stay exceptionally comfortable and luxurious.Additionally, I attended a function at the hotel, and it was incredible. The event was flawlessly organized, with attentive staff ensuring everything ran smoothly. The catering was top-notch, offering a delicious selection of dishes that left everyone impressed.San Antonio Hotel Roxas City truly exceeded my expectations in every way. I look forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional stay or a well-managed event venue.

Very disappointing will never stay back at this hotel.Cleanliness level of the room was very bad .Internet WIFI connection inside room 517 is a big lie because you will never get WIFIBed sheets i believe not change after each guest as i found blood spots on duvet cover and as soon as you lay down on bed you will be scratching your body like crazyShower head was brokenBreakfast below averages with very limited choices. One week stay and elevator is not working .I dont know if i forgot anything but overall was a horrible stay and i got no option to move to another hotel as it was a pre paid booking.NOTE : All the points was communicated to front desk but of course no one bothered to call us back.At last , it was a waste of money and the hotel management just testing your temper

I visited this place before the pandemic days, just saw my old photos and decided to do a review. We held a company event in this hotel/resort. The place is spacious and has peaceful ambiance. This is a perfect place to relax and unwind. 👍 There are seafood restaurants just across the hotel/resort. Super duper fresh Talaba and Scallops is a must try, the best I ever tasted, no cap! Hoping to visit Roxas City again soon. 👌

Disappointed as got high expectations for the place. Pre booked and arrived was given different room which was cheap. No bins, no TV, incomplete room have to ask for floor rags, towels etc. etc.. if you pay mid premium and given wrong room and far from amenities would you be happy ? Didn't meet expectations. Room wasnt worth 2500 or 2600 it was worth 1200.

The location is perfect. San Antonio is near the beach and just a short ride away from SM, Gaisano, and City Mall. Since my daughter and I needed some essentials for our trip, it was really easy for us to get to the places we needed. The room we got was super peaceful and had everything we needed. When returning from our trips, we'd come back to a cleaned and organized room, even after leaving it a mess. The customer service is the best. All the employees were polite, and every time we passed by one, we would receive a greeting. Simple things like people greeting us whenever we left our room really showed the energy of the place, which in this case was very warm and accommodating. Thank you so much, San Antonio, and we would definitely visit the place again!

It's a very horizontal hotel, our rooms were a bit of a walk from the reception, and the way going there felt like the way to the backrooms of the hotel. The rooms are okay, comfy bed and pillows, but there wasn't even a table or chairs, just a sofa bed. Housekeeping insisted on doing housekeeping, kept knocking on our door while we were trying to sleep from an early flight. While I appreciate the enthusiasm, I wish I could have slept uninterrupted for a little longer. I couldn't find it in me to get upset because they seemed really happy and chipper.Lots of places to eat outside, though! And there's a convenience store just outside. Also appreciate that the toiletry bottles were biodegradable.

Okay, I don't like to be negative, but in this case... room was woefully poor. To be fair, I thought the hotel had salvaged the basin and toilet from the scrap bin.No hot water in my room 117 and key locked me out till the maintenance dude turned up for work.Breakfast buffet caters to Korean and local... coffee, well I wouldn't give it to my ex wife and that's saying something!Staff are awesome and no doubt the owners just hoarding profits.Spend some dollars and lift ya game.🙈Do go support Canadian Beaver Bar across the road.

5mins land travel from aiport. A good place and spacious resort, if well maintained. A bit old, lots of rusty surface and needs improvements. Noticed lots of closed / unavailable facilities (elevator, pool, roof deck)

San Antonio is truly a haven for rest and relaxation, we have stayed here multiple times and held an event here for my tita’s birthday party. The services and facilities never dissapoint. The staff is super accomodating, kudos to Maam Dudi and Sir Toto you both are truly the epitome of the Hospitality Industry. I highly recommend this place.

Not recommended at all. The family suite is old and creepy. We didn’t sleep well. Felt unsafe of the location. We transferred to Espacio Verde Resort and it was amazing!

Right in front of Baybay beach and plenty of restos around. Their standard rooms are actually quadruple villas (2 doors front, 2 doors back), many of them scattered around the huge property and you get to occupy 1 room. Room is big, but very basic, with cable TV, an aircon, no chair, a rudimentary table and cabinet, small shower and toilet. I would rather you occupy the rooms located at the reception area rather than these villas. The reception area is nearer the mainroad, across of which is the beach, and nearer the breakfast area and 7-11 opposite the Cafe. The area near the big pond stinks; if it's raining it's a bother at these areas because the walkways are not completely paved, rainwater and mud making a puddle. Pool was nice, brekkie was just okay. Lots of OJT's milling around the pool and villas, doing menial work.

They managed to fix the bathroom thing, which is cool. Dont recommend if your a foreigner and also the place isnt worth the money. The place needs a ton of renovations like basically the entire place. The entire place is built using very low quality materials making it very prone to breaking and falling apart. The wifi is very spotty and works part of the time. Elevator is broken, the front pool is ether being worked on or left like that. Beds are very very bad unless you like sleeping on the floor basically, that is how they feel. It is unfortunate but this hotel is very bad the staff is nice and helpful but i would recommend a different hotel if your looking for a nice place to stay.

I booked two(2) deluxe king rooms and they were great. The breakfast was lame and we gave it a miss after our first day. Among the four of us, we tried all four options on offer for breakfast and they were lacklustre. As for service, the front desk were caught in a lie as they initially said the sea view deluxe king rooms were not available/occupied, then moved one of us to the supposedly "occupied" room when the AC in our assigned room did not work.Apart from that, the rooms were good.Things to note:1. Avoid the lagoon suite rooms. The lagoon stink.2. The elevator have not worked since October last year so keep that in mind if you are traveling with senior parents or PWD.3. Plan to have breakfast someplace else.

San Antonio was our wedding reception venue. It is one of the best venue in Capiz that can really deliver the best results. Good food, complete accommodations, and top notch events coordinators. If you are looking for a reception venue, consider San Antonio Resort and look for Sir Toto Agregorio. We are very much grateful to Sir Toto for taking care of all our needs and more.

Very nice small hotel at the beach side of Roxas city. The area is very nice and huge, with a beautiful pool area including a bar. The hotel is quite small and not crowded. A perfect place to relax. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made our stay very comfortable.Any extra wishes are welcome and it seems they are happy to fulfill them.So for sure I will always come back once we visit Roxas City again!

We stayed there for 9 days it cost us 35K per night. The rooms are terrible and it smells and very dirty. The air condition is not working right and tv same. No refrigerator and no phone for emergency call. The tub in the shower is plugged no water can go inn. It’s a terrible hotel to stay in. No one checks if everything is okay. If you need something in the hotel you need to find someone around to help you. No hot water and the shower is no good. The people that works there are very nice but besides that our stay is a nightmare. No one seems care about the hotels anymore. The only reason we stayed that long because that’s the only hotel in president Roxas. Never again👹. We paid $700.00 for 9 days and regret it. Hopefully you improve all your hotels.

I had a great stay at San Antonio Resort. They were able to accommodate our team on a short notice, and the staff were very polite and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I like how their water pressure is consistently strong inside the rooms. The food was always fresh and delicious. The resort is spacious and peaceful, but the pathways need improvement, especially when it's muddy. The pool and function hall are nice, and the beach is nearby, making it a recommended spot for a quick vacation.

My family and I have stayed at this Hotel and we enjoyed it Very nice place. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and the hotel itself was very beautiful. Comfortable rooms and bed. I loved the pool and restaurant the most . This place is probably the best in the humble town of roxas . If you want a quality stay then this is the best hotel for you to stay! 👌And also thanks too sir toto and mam dodz sa pag allowed maka pag photoshoot para sa 1st birthday ng anak ko.. Godbless you both! More blessings.. 👌🙏

Rooms are in ok shape. Ceiling and walkways leaking and there are broken tiles that are quite dangerous if not careful. Elevators and pool out of service, and the pool was disgusting and stinky.Free breakfast was cold and underwhelming.Upon coming back to the room one night, our key to keep the room power on was gone (likely housekeeping thought we were checking out). The front desk said we'd be charged 500 pesos even though we never touched it. We ended up getting the charge removed eventually, but it was a silly process to have to go through. For the money, I think its overvalued. If what you're after is an acceptable room with AC, then go for it, otherwise shop around.
